Unfortunately no public university in South Africa is free but there are bursaries and loans available at each institution.
A list of all South African universities are available at http://www.hesa.org.za/hesa/index.php/about-us/universities
If you are not a South African you will have to contact SAQA (http://www.saqa.org.za/) first to have your school qualifications verified.
Al our institutions are open to all religions.
